FIVE RECOMMENDATIONS TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR POWER TOOLS

Taking care of your power tools is essential to maintain their performance, safety and durability over time. Hunter gives you five tips to ensure your power tools are always in good condition:

Regular maintenance

Perform regular maintenance according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. This may include cleaning tools, lubricating moving parts, and replacing worn parts.

Proper storage

Store your power tools in a dry, clean place. Tools should not be exposed to humidity, dust or sudden changes in temperature.

Use storage cases or boxes designed for your tools, especially if they are portable.

Regular cleaning

Clean tools after each use to remove dust and dirt. A soft brush or clean cloth is usually sufficient.

Pay special attention to the ventilation openings to ensure they are free of obstructions.

Use adequate protection

Always wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and hearing protectors, as necessary, when using or maintaining power tools.

Make sure extension cords and power supplies are in good condition and meet safety standards.

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions

Read and follow the manufacturer’s instructions in the user manual. This includes guidelines on how to use the tool safely and how to perform proper maintenance.

Do not overload power tools. Use them within their capacities specified by the manufacturer.
